IMPLEMENTATION
The subject of a complete reconstruction, which was carried out by f. NOVOTA ART was a representative space of the so-called Hall of Mirrors and its vestibule – bar from 1913. This “pavilion” with upper natural lighting in the vault has the thematic leitmotif Light, with the allegory of the planet Venus (Morgenstern, Zornička). At the time of the reconstruction, this part no longer existed. It was necessary to create a complete replica of the original space on the basis of historical archival photo documentation, art-historical knowledge and on the basis of fragments of stucco decoration. It was a very demanding technical preparation and artistic-craftsmanship. We used precise processes of welded steel, wooden structures, reinforced large segments of gypsum castings for the vault, created relief stucco decoration, assembly, retouching, painting. The original color was also reconstructed in the range of green, gold dust and ecru tone. According to the investor’s decision, the walls were decorated in red tones in the system of architectural division.
